Well I'm over 26 weeks along now. Things aren't really getting any easier, my pump alarms are driving me up a wall tonight, I have a low battery, my sensor refused to connect and now my reservoir is low... but I am at work for another 2 hours so I can't deal with these things until then. If I didn' need to stay hooked up to my pump for my little man I'd throw it through a window right now!!!! Definitley something I would have thought about pre pregnancy hehe. Oh how having a little one inside of me depending on me to take care of myself has changed me.
A little off topic, but exciting is the fact that my boyfriend and I are in the process of house hunting! my wonderful and crazy grandmother is going to help us buy our first house :D I am so excited I can hardly stand it, all I want is a little house of our own to bring Jaron home to!
I'm starting this blog while I am 19 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I have been a type one diabetic since I was three years old, so for the past 21 years. I want to share my experiences, rants, joys, and frustrations with being pregnant and diabetic and as a diabetic mommy!

I'm a slacker
So I started this blog quite awhile ago because I wanted a place to vent and get my thoughts out there and potentially connect with, inspire or find comfort with other diabetics, especially diabetic moms... and I have written like two whole posts and I'm pretty sure no one even knows that my blog exists, because I haven't even bothered telling anyone about it :) So maybe I'll do that.
So my updates for this post include the fact that I am now on a CGM and getting used to it... it hurts to put in and half the time hurts when i move certain ways because I am not yet an expert at inserting and locating yet another piece of diabetic equiptment, BUT I have finally nailed the pesky dawn phenomenon at 3am and increased my basal at that point and I am FINALLY waking up in the 90s :D yayyyyyyyyy me!
I have another ultrasound today and get to see my beautiful baby boy again, soooo excited, So I am sure I will be posting again later about it!
